About activated carbon
Filters with activated carbon are the ideal choice for removing airborne pollutants in most industrial applications. Due to their very high surface area – up to 1500 m2/g, the exhaust air is purified to the highest degree possible. All common industrial pollutants – like H2S, ammonia and VOC – are removed without traces or byproduct. We offer a wide range of activated carbon filters suitable for all ventilation systems and all industrial airapplications. Our filters are also specially designed to fit a broad range of flows, with low pressure drop, to process the highest degree of pollutant concentrations and to have the most efficient maintenance to cost ratio.
Low pressure drops are especially crucial in ventilation systems.
Our Nodora high-performance cassette filters are designed to minimize pressure drops without losing performance thanks to our unique proprietary cassette-based design.
Nodora is designed as a final air treatment step for odor reduction and H2S removal. The flow pattern is optimized to maximize the efficiency and minimize the pressure drop.

Wastewater treatment plant
We provided a complete H2S removal system for the wastewater treatment plant of the city of Leksand, Sweden. With the combination of ozone treatment and Nodora CAT, 100% of the H2S was removed together with the remaining odors.

The Finnish biogas plant owned by Biopower OY decided to not risk having complaints because of odor emissions. With the installation of Nodora ADS, this result was achieved flawlessly.

Odor and H2S removal
We delivered a complete system combining, ozone, Nodora CAT and Nodora ADS for one of the toughest fermentation processes in the food industry. Odors and H2S values up to 6000 ppm were removed.
Our industrial applications
Our industrial filters are used in a wide range of applications. We carefully select the best suited high-performance carbon, or catalytic media, for each application. Eg. when H2S is the cause of the problem, we select specially prepared impregnated activated carbon, while we use our tailor-made catalytic material (RubiCat™) for desulfurization in biogas applications.
